As with most places in Alaska the best way to get to Glennallen is by car. Driving directions from Anchorage are straight forward:

• Head east on 5th Avenue which becomes the Glenn Highway (AK1)as you head out of town.
• Continue on the Glenn for about 34 miles
• You will see signs for AK-1 and Palmer, take the exit towards Palmer remianing on the Glenn
• Remain on the Glenn Highway all the way to Glennallen

Driving time: 3 - 3.5 hours
